Virtual Hackathon by nStore

nStore conducted Virtual Hackathon in association with the FIRST – Foundation for Innovation & Research at SASTRA Technology Business Incubator. The objective of the hackathon is to solve real-world business challenges in the retail ecosystem. The three main challenges are the Image to Text conversion, Voice to Text conversion, Intelligent product Grouping and Mapping. There are 30 participants were registered and each team can comprise of a maximum of 3 members. Mr Saravanan, Technical expert from nStore he explained each challenge on 15th December 2020. This is a unique opportunity for the 3rd year students to work on emerging technologies. Students have presented their innovative ideas to the panel members on 28th and 29th December 2020. On 25^th January 2021 ,The organizer from nStore declared two winning teams in different challenges. Out of 10 teams, 2 teams got selected. In the end, the students gain industry experience and certificates will be provided.
